About The New Commandments

Dr. Peter Hart is hearing voices—not usually a good thing for a psychologist.  His wife of twenty-five years has died, and the world is on the brink of nuclear Armageddon.

Islamic extremists have already destroyed Washington D.C. with a nuclear bomb. Can Peter find peace—for himself and the world—before the destruction of  New York, London, and Tel Aviv? Haunted by Einstein's warning that "the unleashed power of the atom has changed everything save our modes of thinking, and we thus drift toward unparalleled catastrophes," and inspired by the voices, Peter’s mission becomes clear: to change these "modes of thinking" with ten new commandments.

As Islam and the West hurtle toward disaster, author and psychologist Dr. Steve Brody draws from the wisdom of the world's many voices of faith—as well as proven principles of conflict resolution to reveal ten principles for achieving universal (and personal) peace.

"Steve Brody's insight into the subject of conflict makes his work of fiction an interesting and important read."

Lois Capps, Member of Congress

Brody has created a quick-paced tale that deals with religious issues while avoiding becoming too preachy in the process...twists keep readers guessing to the end."

Kathe Tanner, The Cambrian
