Exercise Therapy and the Cancer Patient:

About Exercise Therapy:

With over 10 million cancer survivors in the U.S. alone, cancer is no longer necessarily seen as a fatal disease-but as one that is either curable, or like heart disease and diabetes, manageable as a chronic condition. This guide will help patients, regardless of type of cancer, regain lost physical and psychological functions. Conditions such as fatigue, loss of strength, and depression are all too common to many cancers.  Indeed, it is often not the cancer itself but the treatment and the inactivity that follows, that affects the afflicted individual.  Howard Stidwill’s latest book is written to be understood and applied by both medical professionals and cancer survivors alike. After 12 years of research with cancer patients and teaching medical professionals, Stidwill offers sound advice in an easy to understand and implementable format.
